The Great Jim Bounds - Founder and Owner of Cooperative Motor Works in Orlando Florida

Jim has a great customer service feature on his site.
We can see Miss daisy's progress on his sight every day. http://www.gmccoop.com/dailypose.htm

The World can see the Coop if they know where to look

6.20.07 The new technology 4 Air Bag system being installed.   This is a good view of the new system.

The old Onan Generator being scrapped.   Off to Jim's Onan graveyard.

New windsheilds being installed.   No more smokey windsheilds.

Water Cooled Honda generator waiting to be installed.... Miss Daisy is on the operating table for the next few weeks.

7.11.07 Fuel Tanks being dropped - Don't look too good. Lots of rust and stuff swimming in the tanks - Jim had the tanks refurbed if that is the correct term and pressure tested - we saved at least $1500 by not having to buy new tanks. Worth Doing.   Where the fuel tanks are mounted.

Daisy is on the lift for her B & B's (Bearings and Brakes).   This is an example of a brake you don't want on Daisy. These are bonded brakes not rivited. Notice the split in the middle. These brakes get too hot for glue only....

Two of the 4 bearings shown here were blue - not good.   The new bearings.

The bearing press - very similar to a whine press LOL.   New bearing being put in.

Now for the front brakes.   You will notice that the brake hose has a "banjo" fitting on the end-- this means the coach had been fitted with 80mm calipers. There is currently an insurance problem with these brakes in CA. We'll go with the originals thank you.

7.18.07 Though we had an unevenful drive to Fl (600miles) This radiator is in serious need of some Core work. Off to to Fixit Man...   The Tranny lines.

Bottom of the motor has an even coat of oil.   7.20.07 Miss daisy's old engine - waiting for the Jasper Crate arrival.

The Tranny.   The Starter - Deserves a Gold Watch for service.

Oil found on the front plate was not from the motor, but rather from the torn oil filler boot on the front of the motor.   The Remanufactured engine has arrived.

The engine is in the hole - bottom view.   Daisy is off the lift and under her own power-she has shinny new shoes.

Better sound system and it handles IPods .   Our new Fridge has arrived .

Dash - before .   Dash being torn down .

New Dash and speakers .   More new dash - Great Job Jim.
The new windshield looks great.

Walla - New dash   Will look even better with new carpet

New Dick patterson Ignition   Carpet is ready

New Service panel - Matches the dash   New Penguin about to go in.
